Rogue "perfect 10" Jerkbait

Unfortunately for my wallet, I've been doing some internet shopping this week. I've got a Lucky E Strike RC STX jerkbait in purple green apple color that has done well for me this spring (not on TR, other lakes), only having one made me nervous, so I had to do some searching to find them, for some reason most places are sold out, finally found some at LandBigFish.com (order placed). Wanted to get a couple of the new McStick colors, Dirty white and Spro Blue, found those at Susquahanna Tackle (order placed). I'm hoping no one comes out with any new colors or models for the rest of the spring.

These caught me in a weak moment recently and more followed me home.

Stupid cold weather. Bought way too much tackle (will end up fishing a smoke grub or ned rig anyway). Built 5 rods instead of the 3 sticks I planned on building. Poured an extra hundred pounds of grub and shakey heads to further kill my mpg. Needs to warm up soonest.

Trust me, they are even nicer if you get them out of the box and in a little sunlight. With some luck they won't leak or lose a bill for at least a few throws.

I bought a 110 +1 in that sexy french pearl color. Haven't caught anything on it but only threw it on one trip. I'll bet it will work.

Had to go to my Ranger dealer to get a trailer light this afternoon...Cabelas. They need to build a new service dept farther from the main store. That's all I can say about that.

Got out today on one of the Bella Vista lakes and threw some jerkbaits for a while. I did toss the Rogue for a bit, caught one bass on it. It gets down deep, maybe 10 feet but hard to tell. It did have a slow float to it, didn't have time to experiment with it as the bass were biting and I'm not one to experiment with baits when I'm catching them on another bait.

Got most of my fish on a Plum Green Apple STX. Can't get them to bite it on the Rock, but these Bella Vista fish like it. It's really weird, I can catch fish on TR on something, come over here to BV and they won't touch it, or I can use something that really works on these BV lakes and the TR fish won't have anything to do with it. It keeps fishing interesting I guess.
