Billfo Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Since the ownership change, Jug & Plug in Shell Knob has been carrying a better selection of soft plastics, terminal stuff and cranks. Actually, they have a nice selection of what the local guy wants with the exception of line, rods or reels. The liquor and beer selections are also premo fyi. Tackle Shop with liquor ? That will save me a trip ! Thanks. Email me Red-Right-Returning is for quitters !
Sac River Jim Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 i found sportsman factory outlet on bennett steet in springfield to be my favorite tackle shop. jim the mgr their always goes out of his way to help me find wat i need and hes a pretty good fisherman in his own rights. unless theyve changed there hours you have to go during the week cause those guys are on a lake fishing on weekends.
Members KC Bass Fanatic Posted April 10, 2013 Members Posted April 10, 2013 Ozark Bait and Tackle in Kimberling City has TR relevant lures only. The customer service however leaves something to be desired. The last 2 times I was in there I had what I would consider rude service. It won't stop me from going back, just from asking any questions.

It's not like there are a bunch of Table Rock Experts sitting around that place BS'ing. Local place like that needs to respect all who enter and be as helpful as possible. The only Stupid questions are the ones you do not ask.. If you don't know ask, and if the answer is impolite walk out the friggin door. That really riles me. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
huntest Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Someone should politely give them a heads up on their poor treatment of paying customers. Since they are in business, one would assume they want more business. Kindness and courtesy are free and since it would significantly increase sales they might want to give it a try.

Good Luck Most of the time when I'm in there, I'm more striking up conversation than fishing for tips. It's too bad because they have some nice poured plastics but I'm one more snide comment from never going back.
Members tbooks Posted April 11, 2013 Members Posted April 11, 2013 my vote goes to Mark at Table rock bait and tackle. great guy and he will help you whatever way he can.
Sprint21fter Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I second Rock Springs Tackle in Harrison, Arkansas, great selection of jigs, plastics, cranks, stickbaits and everything in between, that purtains to all of the Ozark Impoundments, great people and products. Depending on the time of year you can pull in there and they will have barrells full of rods that they didn't sell over the year and have them for 1/2 price or more.

Was not planning to go to Arkansas until the family trip in June. You're killing me Smalls.
