Quillback Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Raining hard here in Bella Vista right now, getting some flash BOOM action also, lightning striking, then right away BOOM accompanied with some house rattling. Looks like the heavy rain stretches down south past Fayetteville, so I'm wondering if the creeks and rivers are going to get a little bump and push the lake up a foot or two. Be interesting to see how this effects the FLW boys, cold temps, lake coming up, potential for muddy river arms, I'm real interested to see what these guys use and how well they do. my guess is they'll be throwing the A-rig a lot. That is if the A-rig is still legal on the FLW and I believe it is.
Feathers and Fins Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 THERE IS NO LEGAL SIZE FISH IN BEAVER LAKE..... I am sure of that lol https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
jerry241 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 All the legal fish are waiting for me to pick up the new rig next Saturday...ha
J-Doc Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 The rig is legal in FLW. the post practice videos say its going to play a factor in the top 10 as the week progresses bit it won't be a solid pattern to last for 4 days. I agree. Finesse tomorrow with the luckiest anglers finding weight. Then it will progress back to several types of baits. The fish were biting well until this afternoon. :-). They'll bite again as the week progresses. They will travel vertical tomorrow and the next day then come back up. That's my guess. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Jerry Rapp Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 muddy water and rising? If anyone of them young guns know how to flip a jig or finesse a big spinnerbait through crap, there should be a very good LM bite.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Tommorow might be the best day for those guys to catch em. Supposed to be blue bird skies this weekend. Which might help those deep clear water guys. You never know. Someone will find em. All of them are sayin that the spawn will not be a factor. The fish arent ready quite yet.
Stump bumper Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 You have to remember that Beaver Lake is an upside down lake so the cold muddy water will cause the fish to chase crank baits and blue bird skies will drive them up to the bank......just think backwards of any other lake.
