Today has been canceled due to storms. They have not announced any details about the format of the rest of the tournament yet.

Need some help, I thought the tournament was going to be broadcasted on ESPN 2, like the trailer says at the weigh-in, but I can't find it. I have several people in the midwest asking when and on what channel it will be on.

Does anyone have the network and the time for the tournament on TV?

Appreciate your help,

Col Ron

I don't know that they've announced a broadcast time yet, but in the past, they've done a show on ESPN2, usually early on a Sunday, 7 Am or so Central time. And It will be a week or two after the tournament.

they will fish the full tournament friday-monday. cut to the top 50 sunday, top 12 fish monday. looks rough over there right now, i say they made the right call to cancel today and start tomorrow

Good call,

There have been tornado warnings all over the area last night and this morning.

Muddy runoff will play a key role.

I wouldn't count out Mark Davis and a box full of wiggle warts.

I disagree. The CPA deal was a surprise to me, because those were the guys that kicked my butt all year long in the winter bass-o-thon. I had a great day. At least 15-16 pounds. I would have sworn it would take 20+ to win the CPA. I think it will take close to 20 a day to win this deal. These guys are really that good, and they fish the conditions. They don't have hours on the lake and lots of spots they have caught fish this time of year in their heads to confuse them. Some of them will find them, and catch some big bags. The fish are there, they haven't gone anywhere, and at least a bunch of these guys are really good. There will be more skunked than last year, but some guys will catch them really well.

hows that 20lb a day prediction working out? ....just messing with ya!! today was tough for most, the guy i marshaled with struggle to get 5 keepers and was doing alot of bed fishing. He said he had tons of fish spotted on beds in practice but they pulled off today and mostly just small bucks. A good freind of mine rode with a really big stick and he too had a tough day.

will be interesting to see if the leaders can back up their weights from today tomorrow.

I wonder why those guys didn't adjust rather than try to force the issue and bed fish when conditions were stacked against them. The fish are there for the catching.

Exactly! 20 pounds of smallies would be a tall order, but if they move off the bank some, 12-14 pound bags shouldn't be that hard to come by. Idk. I'm far from as good as those guys are, so I know I'm playing armchair quarterback, but suprised at how many guys tried to stay with bedding fish. Lots of big fish spawn in 15-20' on bull anyway- I'm not so sure sight fishing is ever all that wise of a game plan- but what do I know.

That's the big ego making them stick with one technique bc their known for that:

Denny Braurer and Tommy Biffle will always pitch and flip even if they know its not going to help them win.

Its what they do, versatility is not in their bag.

Some guys love bedding bass and will live and die with it.
