Members CanoeBoy Posted April 21, 2013 Members Posted April 21, 2013 Fished Cape Fair yesterday and saw brown ferrit looking animals roaming the bank. I thought it was someones pet, but saw more than one on occasion roaming the bank. Anyone know what they are?
bfishn Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 (aka Midnight Monkeys) I can't dance like I used to.
gitnby Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Ah, the Mink! Their primary diet consists of : -Expensive Boat upholstery -rubber-coated wiring in places you and I can't reach and apparently, new rain-suits still in the package?
abkeenan Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Yep, Mink. See them all the time and they usually catch a fish from the bank before I do.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Reminds me of a time I saw a Racoon. I caught a fish and threw it on the bank and he dove on top of it and started eating it immediately. Pretty cool stuff.
laker67 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 A family of five use to live near the ditch at tcomo. Several times during the day one would catch a trout out of the ditch and the others would chase and wrestle and make that little mink sound all the way back to the den. Like the blue herons and otters at bssp, they mysteriously disappeared.

WettinLine Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Let me guess, BearDen north side? He is a begging fool, and nearly tame.
