Wayne SW/MO Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 It is tough to buy, but mostly because there were two. I could see maybe some one transporting one to the Finley from Fellows, but for two? Veery interesting. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

jbtiwns30 Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Yup must have to go catch one... even if i did they wouldnt believe the pic anyways unless you go to the spot where i caught it and you know the background of the place. Anybody can catch a fish and take pics of it saying you caught it over here when you really caught it some place else. Its ok not going to waist my time trying to prove some people are wrong.
Dutch Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I thought that Tiger Muskies were sterile hybrids like the white/striper cross. What would they be doing on a bed?
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 would be easy to mistake the two from a boat looking underwater....im sure there color varies depending on water
RSBreth Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 And the other thing is that in all the years I've fished the Finley I've never seen a Pickerel, either. Could happen, just rare.
vonreed Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I've personally seen what I thought was a muskie on the James River in the upper end of Springfield Lake. I took the advise of others that it was a pickerel. As they as fairly native to the area from what I understand.
