dtrs5kprs Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Fish caught between 4/15 and 4/30. Mostly on the Ned Rig, but some on sticks, grubs, fish doctor. All were swimming when last seen. Darn old Ned Rig catches everything in the lake...
abkeenan Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Thanks for the pics Dave. Got tired of the "stupid Kindle" excuse.
dtrs5kprs Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Thanks for the pics Dave. Got tired of the "stupid Kindle" excuse. Yes. Kindle is now safely stored. Works much better than none though. Hate cell phones, and so-called smart phones especially, can't quite justify a lap top. Will get some of the video sorted and put up at YouTube also. Might even have to show the "special" color on the Ned. Need to order some first before I start a run. Hooks should arrive today or tomorrow, so heads will roll this weekend. Out of the mold, that is.
*T* Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 That last pic is one fine, smooth skinned bass Unusual fin layout & distribution though for a bass. "Water is the driving force of all Nature."Â -Leonardo da Vinci
Members NebSchmidty Posted May 2, 2013 Members Posted May 2, 2013 Nice haul. Must admit that I used to consider that ned rig kind of gimmicky or a one-trick pony...not anymore. Ultra-clear water with tough conditions, that little setup is money. Occured to me this morning, how similar it is to the faithful old beetle spin (minus the spin of course). As with the Ned, you can catch pretty much anything that swims on it. Thanks again for sharing your reports and insights from you trip.
Sore Thumbs Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Where can i get some of those hooks in brown like that? Cant find any locally
