I buy a few here and there but mostly use my own - hard to find a good 1/8-ounce finesse jig with the hook and weedguard I wanted so I started making them. For store bought I like the 5/16 Booyah Baby Boo - but I'll start making that size, too.

Ruff Crowd!!!!! I was just trying to help and give some info on a good jig.NorthStar jigs are priced good for what you get.I understand what you guys are saying about price and local jigs.I didn't mean to upset anyone. And he has some real cool color jigs. I know what you guys are saying about going through alot of jigs on the Rock, and the cost. But i will stay with what works for me and the NorthStar jigs.I just wanted to give a heads up.

I bought some a couple of years ago and fished them a fair amount. They just do not work for me, for whatever reason. I've yet to ever catch a fish on one.

Omega jigs is a good one for me. I've had a lot of success with those. Bass-X lures sells a very similar one that works well, too.

I'm with a few of the other guys in that I pour and tie my own. Cost a fraction of what a store bought jig costs and even those picky TRock bass eat them well.
