It is very unusual that I leave my boat in the driveway, however, all my rods were stolen last night. I'm asking for everyones help in keeping an eye out for Rods/Reels for sale that might be unusually cheap or seems suspicious.

$500 cash reward for return of equipment or for charges being filed against the person who stole all the rods and reels out of my boat parked at my house near Denny's Harley Davidson in the early morning hours of 5/27/13.

Rods are GL2, Temple Fork Outfitters, CarbonLites, Bionic Blades, and a TD-Pro-Z Spinning Rod. ALL REELS ARE LEFT HANDED! Most are TD-Pro's. The spinning reel is an Okuma and there are 2 shimanos.

PLEASE CALL 417-536-8711 OR GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT WITH ANY INFO.

I appreciate it very much. I am hoping that it turns up because my insurance is only going to pay a fraction of what its going to cost to replace it. Thank you all very much for keeping an eye out for it. I've emailed the pawn shops and Outdoor Xperienced in case it turns up there.

That stinks, sorry for your loss and I hope you get your stuff back and the perps get some time at the graybar motel.

That stinks RS; sorry to hear about that crap. If I was local, I'd be a lookin' out, but I figure bumping this thread up and keeping it fresh can help from a distance.

As a side note; I saw you mentioned a td-pro spinning rod. If the time comes to replace it; the prior model Daiwa Procyon spinning rod is the TD-Pro. Looks, feels and has the same action as the TD from bps. And they can be found affordably online.......it took much searching/research to figure that out when I broke my only TD a couple years ago.:-(

RS,

Really sorry to hear about your gear getting stolen. A thief is about as low as come. Might keep an eye on Ebay as well as your local Craigslist as the a$$hole may be brave/dumb enough to try to sell your gear there. Hope you gear finds its way back to you and the jerk finds himself in jail.

Your chances of recovery are almost nil. I bet they sold all of them real fast. They go around the clubs a bars and fences they are known in and the stuff is gone in a couple if hours. I know it happened to me some years ago.

We had some gear stolen from a jobsite near Tulsa recently and it showed up on Craigslist within a week. Worth watching, anyway.
