Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 12, 2013 Root Admin Posted June 12, 2013 City of Branson has contracted a company to uncover the 2 intake water lines uplake from us that feed the city's water plant. They've been trying to blow gravel away from the pipes for a few weeks to no avail. Today they're bringing in the big guns!
Jerry Rapp Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I had to chuckle at this Lilley. The flat bottom boat with maybe a 90HP outboard(or is it a jet?) pushing that barge and crane up the lake. I assume there was no current?
Travis Swift Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 No they are flowing 3 units..it wasn't setting any speed records!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 12, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted June 12, 2013 Yea- this was CRAWLING uplake at a turtle's pace. I took this and posted it so that's the time it went by. Maybe 1 mph. 4 miles traveled. I'll find out when they started - I assume from the RR bridge downtown Branson. There was a pontoon on the far side helping but I bet not much.
