dtrs5kprs Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 FB jig bite is going around 13. Usual sort of gravel places, 15-30', mix of black and brown ones. 1/2oz jig with "finesse " size skirt, more or less the green pumpkin and orange with some purple that Bill described last year. Very aggressive bite. Water was 78-80 everywhere we went today. Semi clear and green east of 13, dingy brown west of the bridge. Did have a nice keeper black flipping bushes with about 6'of water in them, so if that is your deal you can probably make it go. Might take some running to find enough bushes with good depth on them. Lots of shad, fry, and bluegill up shallow.
abkeenan Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Good to hear the 34 Belly Option on 2 on 2..... is working. Will be down there next Friday evening til Sunday afternoon. If they are on the jig they should be on the Jika as well. Will be using some of those green pumpkin heads you gave me Dave. Been dying to bust them out paired up with my watermelon green w/ orange flake brush hogs.
dtrs5kprs Posted June 15, 2013 Author Posted June 15, 2013 Could not get the FB out of my hands long enough to try the jika yesterday. Fish were in pretty bare places. The Ned was a little off yesterday, the boy caught some on that and a split shot in the same places. Hope you light them up when you are down.
dtrs5kprs Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 A few pics from the trip. Not all FB fish. Lots of Ned Rig, shakey, and fin fish.

dtrs5kprs Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 Thanks all. Kids had a blast. Would have been better for me if the whites had not chewed my arm off that morning .
*T* Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 There's not much better than kids catching great fish on a family outing at Table Rock!! Those are some serious smiles. VG pics! "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Bill Babler Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Thanks Dave Wonderful report and great to see the family. As big as they are getting in a year or two, they will be driving the boat and unhooking your fish. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
