Nice feeder creek SB's (that means "Smalliebigs"). Don't wanna start yet another war on the site! Wonder what happend to the tail of the LM in the last pic...

KC... I'm assuming you think that largemouth might have been caught off a bed, but i assure you it wasn't. It was cruising around on a large flat with two other decent fish. I made a cast about 10 feet in front of her and she just swam up without hesitation and engulfed my bait. Might have been the easiest catch all day.

This was definitely a cool little creek, but at it's current flows, we just didn't see a lot of 15" plus fish. That largemouth was the biggest one we saw and were able to catch it. Sight fishing to cruising fish is still pretty fun even when most the fish are 8"-12".

Next time I could shuttle you 3 miles up and you could hit the multiple beaver holes. I love my creek and will miss her. I have 2 contracts on it now. Luckily my mom bought a farm on the little injun. Not near the diversity but nonetheless a good smallie crik the meramec is hosed up again for few days with last nights rain

Okay so .. Last week I ran a guy off fishing my creek that said he was from high ridge. I just caught another guy from arnold. How the heck do people drive a hour to trespass is beyond me.

To many people have no respect for others nowadays HW. I would not be to trusting to deal with anyone who was knowingly trespassing on my land, cause you don't know what type of person/people they really are. I think firing off some close target shooting rounds may teach them to mossie on. I wouldn't tolerate it.
