fishinwrench Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 So that guy truly is the owner/deed holder for that piece of land ?
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Sure Jack and I'll bet you got all your information from the trial, as opposed to the media. I hope this guys gets the book thrown at him, if he doesn't I might have to think twice about floating a river with and open season on floaters. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Quillback Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 Interesting read, bet that cop wrote a lot of tickets. I'm surprised there aren't more drowning's, getting falling down drunk and being on the water is a recipe for dying.
Fishslayer88 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 If people didn't float with friends there would be. While fishing a few years back i had to pull a drunk woman out of a log jam in front of the Y bridge in galena, she was so drunk she could not function floating on a cushion, she floated right past her take out point. She was lucky someone was fishing there that day her friends were not close enough to get her and didn't seem to be in much of a hurry.
remi74 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I know this has been posted a few times. But what I see in it is the definition of stream law simplified in the initial definition. I've seen this a few other places including a report from MDC I cannot locate. I have bookmarked many reports and pages of missouri stream law. Page 1 says it all. . http://liv2flyfish.com/HTMLobj-430/PublicRightsInMissouri001.pdf

hank franklin Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 The latest... http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/suspect-in-meramec-river-shooting-case-says-he-was-defending/article_21f2e227-51c4-54de-b568-a30bd510a1c6.html Sounds like Crocker just went nuts. Why the floating party didn't just completely scatter out of there remains unanswered.
Quillback Posted August 17, 2013 Author Posted August 17, 2013 Looks like the charge is 2nd degree murder.
remi74 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 He was careless. It seems to me he was ready for a fight. He shoulda let them go on. Defending his property?? From pee.
