Buzz-Bait Beauty

Floated yesterday with good success. My canoe partner and I doubled with these two. The one he caught was a typical "good one", but mine was my best for the year. Made his 13-14" er look a bit small. I loved it. On my first pass with the buzz-bait, he smoked it twice,,,,,,missing the hook both times,,,,,,,,,,but on the second pass, he fortunately found the hook.

Did not take the time to measure cuz I wanted to get him/her back n the water after the pic fast so u guys could catch him later. More noticable than the length was how thick his back was.

There is nothing really like a buzz bait. I was bass fishing with friend one time and the skirt on his buzz bait was falling apart he finally took it off and threw it on he floor of the bat and jut kept on catching fish. Even in the hot weather early in the morning if you can find a spot you might catch a lunker all summer long on a buzz bait. I do not use them very much are for very long because it takes a lot of casting that will get the arthritis in my shoulder going. But they are surely among the all time great lure

Some real quality fish right there. The buzz bait is one of my favorites, especially with a big soft plastic trailer the same color of the skirt. The squeakier the blade the better I say.
