Bill Babler Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 See what I'm sayin. He has just gotten out of control. I'll have to put in the Disanti and the Sparkling Water to keep is lips from parching. May have to hire a rod bearer to change his baits and keep a fresh stick in his hands at all time. If its hot I'll also have to have a Hula Gal fan him. Ah! Life when your friends are the rich and famous. He is my buddy, so I will accept his high handedness. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Champ188 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 May have to start calling him Big Bird, with that new Phoenix. Big boat. Big motor. Big graphs. You get the picture. Big league all the way. Last I heard, I believe he had scored a pair of CANARY YELLOW SHOES AND SUNGLASSES to go with those Skeet rods. For gosh sakes, please tell me this new boat isn't gonna be YELLOW!!!!!!!!
denjac Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 When I need money, I go to the Bank of Babler. He has one of those title loan places on the corner of UU and 13hwy. Only 22% interest. Thats why I have to sell my Stratos to pay off my loan before he sends goons to my house ! Your getting an oyster pic tonight. Bon appetite. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. I guess I need a posse at the ramps to help me with my stuff. Play some intro music like they do at the WWF matches, but wait, my new boat has a sonic hub in it. I can play it myself through my Lowrance unit. lol . Going to go eat some oysters now and maybe a Perfect Patron. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. merc1997 Bo Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 back to the fishing. i think that all the rain we had has actually made two thermoclines, at least in the big m, eagle rock area. was there last night, and noticed right off, the fish were suspended out in nothing, and they were all depths. i also noticed a sign of a thermocline at around 22ft, but also in places another one was showing up at 40ft. my opinion is the influx of rain has mixed the ater column somewhat and it will take the fish a while to settle back down because of all the bait being so scattered. i also think that in about another week, we will find the bass have made a depth jump to deeper water. we just seem to be about a month behind of where the fish should be. we also have more water in the lake than normal for this time of the year. i can not speak for daytime fishing, but i think when the fish settle back in, we will see them at around 25' for night time fishing instead of the depth of from the bank to 20' that they have been for quite a while now. what few fish we caught last night were all right on the edge of a ledge or drop. there is my observation of what is going on with the fishing. i too had heard from many fisherman that the last few days it was darn hard to get a bite. they were all asking me what i thought had happened to the good bite. bo
