They look great! I would be interested to see if they perform as well as the 110's. Since the 110's sit nose down I don't like them as good as the pointer 78.I know the one thing I've always liked about the lucky craft pointer 78 was that they seemed to always come back to horizontal on the pause.

I'd never throw Megabass for Ozark Stream smallies. The Megabass are too fragile and the smallies generally do not care. I've got a buddy that does quite well with < $5.00 jerkbaits, but I do throw some LC stuff and Team Diawa jerkbaits which are pricey, but more durable than Megabass.

I love Megabass on lakes, but they are way too fragile.

Take a look at the Spro McStik 95. I'd look at Chrome Shad, Blue Bandit, or Spooky Shad.

Squad Minnow is great, I like the smaller #8 XRap, and the old but still killer #10 size Husky Jerk, too. If you want a bigger lure (three trebles and 1/2-ounce) try the XCaliber EEratic Shad. It sits nose down like the Vision 110, but has a profile like a Rogue or Husky Jerk but only cost around 7 or 8 bucks. Or you can get the knock-off 110 Junior now, too. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Luck-E-Strike_Rick_Clunn_RC_STX_Jerkbait/descpage-LKRCSTK.html

I thought they were probably a gimmick, but I tried one last year and wound up buying another one, catch rate went up. No problems so far, but I havn't banged them off a rock yet either...

There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

I ran out time on my post to put colors - I like more transluscent minnow colors when it's cloudy or early/late like the Pro Blue, and brighter colors like sexy shad or clown when it's sunny. My best color for sunny days is a brighter orange belly/silver sides/blue back - the 110 has a color like that but I can't rememeber the name.

I'd buy one of these STX's also and compare it to the Megabass if you buy one.

FTR, it is the bill on the Meagbass that is too wimpy. IF it hits a rock wrong, it's toast. Maybe Got Muddy can teach me how to cast and not have the Megabass hit a rock during the middle of the cast.

I forgot about the smaller STX jerkbaits. The STX 110 knockoffs did not work for me so I did not but the smaller ones.
