BilletHead Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 See there we can all have a good discussion without getting our panties in a wad. I know one thing though. With all of the lists of the elite. I feel real good about my little old yeti. Like Bird Watcher said you all have a safe and fun holiday weekend. Think about the working man of woman. The one who serves you your big mac, the one who built your house, etc. as you enjoy the weekend! BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S. "May your fences be short or hope you have long legs" BilletHead

Old plug Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I am getting ready to buy a new 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium hybred does that make me elite.
hank franklin Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Elite...has become a buzz word of the jealous.... !
Terrierman Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I'll give you an example of what's elite, at least in my mind. Taking kids and grandkids to NFOTW (where they've never been) for the weekend floating, fishing, staying in a very nice place and eating like kings. To me, it's what you do, not what you have that's worth striving for.

Old plug Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Yes that is a good perspective. The fusion was going to be the car of a lifetime and was our 50th wedding aniv present to each other. Other than that we try real hard to be good neighbors.
