Just wondering if anyone fishes exclusively for bass on Stockton ? Seems all you hear about is walleye or crappie ? No doubt it's a good fishery for those species but the bass population is very good as well. Just asking.........

Seems like all the bass fisherman have passed away or times have changed for those guys. I find it interesting too that there is barely any talk about the bass fishing anymore, unless it is the Whites. This is a good bass lake, yet in the last year, basically nobody wants to discuss it much. I guess it has become boring for some out there. The Crappie fishing runs the talk on this lake.

Bass fishing on the lake has been really good

For a few years now. I would fish it more but with the tournament circuit I fish I only get to practice there in the spring . The lake has some really big fish in it right now .

Glad to hear replies from you guys. We fish here and table rock and both provide good fishing for bass. Stockton is great when you want to escape the crowds and hustle that table rock has now days. Don't get me wrong...love the rock. Just seems Stockton doesn't get mentioned much for black bass. Would just like to see more post and be able to share with the rest of you of success and failure.

I'd rather Stockton keep getting little attention. Plenty of fish in it without the hassle of Table Rock.

Careful what you wish for, ya just might get it. And that means not many reports. And that means you'll have to go find 'em yerself. Just like in 99.9% of human history. :)
