A lot of that stuff has no validity. They can't confirm it because a lot of the players are deceased.

Huh? We're talking Miles and Gundy as the coaches.

I guess a lot of those players were friends with the Clintons.

IMO, what I've heard from this OSU investigation, you could probably find that kind of stuff at any major college FB program, especially in the past.

Texas having the Longhorn Network shows their arrogance. Losing to BYU just put them behind TAM in recruiting. It's laughable.

I'm sure it happens at all these big institutions.

You can't tell me that Alabama isn't paying all those soon to be nfl players

Looks like maybe they are. Anyone else seen the Yahoo report on that? Looks pretty bad for Alabama and could potentially result in them losing their titles/wins.

Looks like at least one of them may have been (or more precisely, it looks like some may have been payed, though probably not through the school.) Anyone else seen the Yahoo report on that? Looks pretty bad for Alabama and could potentially result in them losing their titles/wins. Seemingly so many blockbuster pieces coming out right now about potential violations at big-time football schools that it's hard to keep track of. This is a really bad time for those schools too right as the schedule is starting to ramp up for most of the schools involved (especially Alabama.)

The big burden is school has to have known, This looks like a case where the player was acting outside the knowledge probably will amount to not a hill of beans. But if it does it brings back up the one question the NCAA doesn't like and that is player making money off their selves and several attorneys are just waiting to make it a case. Im betting NCAA backs off this one like they have others similar to it.
