I thought LSU looked great. Sure, I wish they hadn't given up the kickoff return for a TD or turned the ball over inside their 10 yard line.

TCU was holding receivers in the endzone on multiple plays. This lead to FG instead of TD.

Mettenberger had a handful of drops and a handful of throw aways, BUT they were 13-19 on 3 rd down and he was 16/32 for 251 yards, one TD, and ZERO INT's. I'll take those numbers EVERY week.

Mettenberger was able to stand in the pocket and throw the ball. I remember 2 sacks, but one was clearly a blown blocking assignment from the RB.

Best RB sat because of a bar fight. As a result, LSU had a little under 200 yards rushing.

Every one improves from Week 1, but I was very happy with what I saw.

Arkansas seems to be lots better. Alabama looked rusty. Clemson's QB is VERY good and TOUGH.

aTm sat some defensive starters, but dang, they gave up a BUNCH of yards to Rice.

I hope Manzel thinks he can keep running. I can think of three or four SEC teams that will make him pay for that way of thinking.

LSU might be the best team in the West right now.

I think theyve got a good shot at the western division title.

Alabama put up 200+ yards of total offense and caught find a starting offensive line.

Theyre overrated and will not win the SEC or the national title, not going to happen.

Yes, we want to beat them everytime we play them, But LSU doesn't hate Arkansas the way they do Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, and Tulane. There is heart felt dislike for those teams.

Yes, and they should proably be our rival at the Thanksgiving friday game.

We also have history with Ole Miss that dates back to the SWC days.

Why didnt LSU have a season ending rival, like the other schools?

The SEC office made the LSU/Ark game into a rival,

just like the doing now with Mizzou/Ark and TAM/LSU

Oh by the way, we cant stand LSU and we know its one sided. So be it.

Ive had some very bad experiences with LSU fans, but thats a common thread for other schools too.

Little Johnny has matured in his Game presence which is scary for opponents to see. No HT for him this year I am sure but the boy is dangerous on field and barring injury he will go high in the draft when he goes in and I cant take that away from him.

Attending a game in Baton Rouge is an iffy idea. There is a large number of ppl that take it way too far. It isn't family friendly. It isn't appropriate. I don't agree with it or in any condon it, but I do acknowledge it. It is a hostile pa,ce for the away team and their fans.

In my opinion, Don't go. It isn't worth it.

You might have a great experience, but you'll need thick skin and a little luck.

Didn't know that about LSU. I used to travel to the SF Bay area quite a bit for work. Been told that you don't want to go to a Raiders game wearing the other teams colors. If you do, you will NOT have a great experience, guaranteed.

I think Arkansas State is the trap game on our schedule before conference play. I wonder what the over on the Indiana/ Mizzou game will be? 80?

No kidding. Neither defense looks great at this point and both offenses could be elite. That will be a fun one even if I don't think Indiana hangs around too long.

That's what I keep telling these guys that think that because the Hogs beat the Ragin Cajuns it's some kind of huge win. It's a Sun Belt team, any mediocre SEC team should whip a Sun Belt team 95% of the time.
