Life Got Better

Took 4 guys out today in 45 mph winds. We managed to get 13 wigeons and one green wing. Could not get them to hold their fire till the birds got close enough to do real damage. Think I'm flying out to a coastal pond to hunt in the morning. It's raining birds up here in Alaska.

Roughest opener I have had Duane, Labor Day weekend lake loaded with boats made for a tough hunt. Found the birds hiding in the far back of coves. We put 357 miles on the boat in 2 days. But there are teal teal and more teal.

Well done Scott! you too Duane. While running around looking at ponds yesterday morning we did see a group of six teal. Hopefully more will show up this week.
