duckydoty Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Took 4 guys out today in 45 mph winds. We managed to get 13 wigeons and one green wing. Could not get them to hold their fire till the birds got close enough to do real damage. Think I'm flying out to a coastal pond to hunt in the morning. It's raining birds up here in Alaska. Feathers and Fins Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Roughest opener I have had Duane, Labor Day weekend lake loaded with boats made for a tough hunt. Found the birds hiding in the far back of coves. We put 357 miles on the boat in 2 days. But there are teal teal and more teal. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Hopefully more will show up this week.
