Well, I thought that I had all ready for this weekend. Mother nature looks to have messed things up. It appears that on Friday that there will be a 20 degree cold front.

Read Babler's latest report just posted yesterday and I would say the fish would stay on that pattern until you come down.If the temps drop and a front is rolling through might have a blade tied on if there is some wind and chop (which there usually is when a front is pushing through). Dad and i fished a jig and pig in watermellon. we caught alot of fish. even satuday and sunday. the temp droped 28* saturday afternoon. each days weight would have been 12+#'s for best five. could not get them to bite a shad pattern.

Glad you made the trip and got to catch some fish. Never know this time of year til you start fishing if it's gonna be a looking up (shad) or looking down (crawdad) bite. Good job figuring it out.

I use green pumpkin, except for when I change to green pumpkin. You could also try green pumpkin.
