Champ188 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I had a couple of 15-20 pound days last winter on Beaver with the RC Stix. Nuff said. If it'll work on Beaver, it'll work anywhere. And oh yes, I placed sixth in the BFL on Grand last March ... again throwing the RC Stix all day long. Buy Megabass if you want. I own some. They work. But the RC Stix work, too. If you don't like the hooks and split rings, it's easy enough to change them.

bluebasser86 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I bought one Vision 110 before Luck E Strike came out with the RC Stix. I got the Pro Blue and have caught some fish on it but haven't had any days I felt like it produced significantly better. I have been outfished by my buddy in the back of my boat throwing the same color RC Stix on Grand though. The French Pearl RC is a killer on the smallmouth on a local lake. I know the 110 is a proven bait and I'm sure the real jerkbait guru's could kick my butt up and down the bank with one most days, but myself personally I just can't justify a $25 bait when such a close copy of it is there for $8. I'd be more than willing to trade my 110 for 3 RC Stix.

Tackle Warehouse and others ocassionally run 20% off sales, but like I said earlier. I'm stocked up fairly well on jerkbaits right now. I'd buy Megabass I didn't need at $15 a pop though.
