Duck Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Do fishfinders go bad with age? I put a new transducer on and I still can't see what I did when it was newer. Thanks, Duck.
fishingaddiction Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Sounds like an issue with the head unit and not the transducer. Did you contact the manufacturer of fish finder? Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Champ188 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Don't know that I've ever had one go dim. I've sure had the display go completely out. That was a bad problem with the last few years they made the Pinpoints.
Pepe Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 It may be a power issue. I had a similar problem, replaced the battery the unit was wired to and the problem went away.
