Mitch f Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 A Canadian pro caught this while drop shotting in the St. Lawrence river. 5.14 lbs The fattest smallmouth I've ever seen. Looks like a spring fish but he caught it today or yesterday "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Greasy B Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Good grief, a true pig. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
LittleRedFisherman Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Wow, that's so fat, it almost don't look like that would be a good thing for the fish...lol. Dandy! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
joeD Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I'm sure the fish hated a softball shoved down its throat. Otherwise, please explain the gut.
Members riverhyker Posted October 16, 2013 Members Posted October 16, 2013 Wow...Is it possible that this fish has a tumor growing?
moguy1973 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I'm sure the fish hated a softball shoved down its throat. Otherwise, please explain the gut. During the Bassmaster event on the St. Lawrence river they said there has been a huge influx of gobies that the smallmouth bass are feeding on. This one seems to be liking the gobies... -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
stlfisher Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Dear God that is a massive gut...looks like gut of tailwater trout...
