Quillback Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Not a given as the Cards now get to face Greinke and Kershaw again. Nice to see Holliday crunch one, sure would help if he gets hot, or at least lukewarm.
snap Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 .....and they get kelly and wacha!!! then waino, if needed!!! I have been down on kozma all year, but that DP he turned when he came in was a thing of beauty that descalso has no chance of making.....or many SS's .....He can my weight if he does that!!!
Greasy B Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Yeah, that was great. Pay back for all that chest thumping the Dodgers did the night before. A fine example of how being cocky will get you nowhere. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
stlfisher Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 The Dodger may have the names, but the Cardinals pitching has been outstanding. Lynn makes me nervous, but our bullpen especially has been unhittable. The Cardinal are absolutely stacked with great pitching the next several years. Probably won't be much offense again tonight, but it would be nice to get the win and get the guys some rest. I think we get to Greinke tonight. Adam's gets a hold of one tonight. That Holliday shot was absolutely crushed!
moguy1973 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I say the Cardinals jump out to a lead, Puig gets beaned in the side for game 2 antics, brawl ensues, LA fans leave the game early as usual, Cards win series. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

I noticed quite a few empty seats in the outfield areas last night. Cards fans are much more deserving of having a team in the World Series.
Jerry Rapp Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I like your thinking! I say the Cardinals jump out to a lead, Puig gets beaned in the side for game 2 antics, brawl ensues, LA fans leave the game early as usual, Cards win series.
snap Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 ...wacha wins and waino ready to go in game 1 of series!!! (hoping here) surely the birds can win one at home again!!!
stlfisher Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 You new that game was trouble when we had bases loaded and nobody out in the first and we couldn't score. Molina did not have a good game. I still like our chances, but I have a feeling game 6 will be another close game. Go Cards!
snap Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 right on stlfisher!!! birds score in the first, it is a different game!!! Holiday is heating up nicely.....need to get something out of molina and adams.......craig would have gotten at least a fly ball out of that in the first!!!
