mic Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I had a slow day at work and found these. I know some of us like to try new things and new ways so I thought I would share. PS... Chef Ramsey killed most of this himself on other videos. Enjoy. Duck: Rabbit: Catfish: Hog: Hare: Morel:
ScottK Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Suddenly, I'm wanting some catfish pretty bad...
mic Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 I have to admit, that cat reciepe looked pretty darn good.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 OAF favorites? I have to ask who on here who hunts hare's, or even knows where some might be? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
mic Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Alright spoony... quit stirring the soup.
jdmidwest Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 There is a few swampers down here, close enough to a hare. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Mitch f Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Made a great batch of Oxtail soup today if I say so myself. Tomato paste, cloves and beef stock make this soup special. Oxtails are starting to go up in price in the last 5 years. A very good hearty soup after a cold day on the river! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
BilletHead Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 That looks good Mitch! We had some of the Mrs. BilletHeads homemade vegetable soup with her potato rolls. I sometimes think soup is an under rated meal. What more can you ask for? ness Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I'm with you guys -- soups /stews are a favorite. Today I made 'mom's' beef stew. She got the recipe out of one of those community cookbooks back in the 70s. Some good meat, some raw carrots and everything else out of the pantry. Takes about 10 minutes to dump it all in the Crock Pot in the morning and it's ready for dinner. John
