I just picked up a Falcon Cara T7 Carolina Lizard Dragger. I've wanted one of these for years, and found a new one at a great price. Does anyone else have one of these, and if so, what other applications have you used it for? I'm anxious to try it for FB jig as well.

It's a great name. I always kinda wanted one too, but I've moved away from where I was comfortable Carolina rigging.

I use mostly Duckett rods these days but I've always found that a C-rig rod will work divinely for football jiggin. Bet you enjoy the Cara. Sometimes I feel like the only non-Falcon guy around but I really like my Ducketts.

There are so many great rods available these days. I really shy away from being too critical of anyone's choices. IF I've tried that rod and disliked it, about the most I'll say is that it wasn't my cup of tea.

I am not loyal to one specific company when it comes to rods. I have Shimano, BPS, Falcon, Quantum, Daiwa, Airrus and Fenwick that I use. I will admit that I don't think any of them felt better in my hand than a Duckett Micro Magic. Falcons are a close 2nd and then Shimano. I am still in search of a cranking rod and I am waiting for the Duckett Ghost to hit the market before I buy anything. Looking forward to maybe adding a Duckett to my arsenal.

I HAVE HAD ONE A LONG TIME. USE IT FOR CAROLINA RIG AND SWIM BAIT. MAY NOT BE THE BEST ROD FOR THESE APPLICATIONS BUT I DON'T DO EITHER ONE MUCH ANYMORE. ROD HAS SERVED ME VERY WELL OVER THE YEARS I DID A LOT OF CAROLINA RIGGING TV TOM
