*T* Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 This is not about bragging at all but brought it up on another thread. What are some personal bests on Table Rock on overall size Lm, spots, SM, walleye. And, if not recent, how many years ago. Include fish caught by partners you fished with if you like. I'd bet there's some interest inwhat you have to say. "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Members Whit Warriors Posted January 15, 2014 Members Posted January 15, 2014 April 2013 I caught my biggest smallmouth ever on TR. I was fishing with a guy from California that was loving the smallmouth action on TR. We both were throwing Carolina rigged or split shot finesse worms (turd worms) or better know as Zoom centipede & fish doctor. We had a great day and around noon was sharing a secondary point with a buddy of mine. Both boats catching bass. I hooked and landed a 4.67 pound smallmouth. I thought it was over 5. I have caught my share of smallmouth on TR but this is my personal best. So far.....
jolicious Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Kind of a personal best. Last year, during day one of the Oakley Big Bass deal, I caught 40 fish in the first two hours. 36 of them were over 15 inches. Nothing huge, but that's the best two hours I have had on the water that didn't include a family member. I know y'all ate used to that a lot when fishing Table Rock, but I don't get to fish it much :-)
Chris King Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 7lbs 10oz in early March 2005...was fishing the CMN tournament or something?? Didn't get big bass though! Did get a nice replica made though since I'll probably never get another one like that! Was fishing with my Dad so that made it nice. Caught it really early and couldn't wait to get to the weigh-in.
eyedabassman Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 6 lb. 4 oz. smallmouth caught in Kim City off of a main lake point.Caught it in late May 2008.Bait was a Zoom french fry in watermelon red!

WeekendWarrior Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Personal best TR bass was April 17th in 1998 and weighed 9 lb. 11 oz. and should have won 20k for catching biggest bass in a free tourney for staying at participating resorts but lost on technicality because I didn't check-in before going fishing although we were already paid. Still remember like it was yesterday. Fish caught on a storm rogue I sanded down and was bone color without paint. Couple years back a older gentleman fishing with me in a club tourney had a 5.29 smallie on smoke grub on a really windy day. He never got to touch it till weigh in because it was so windy I just threw her in well. All fish released to fight another day!
Quillback Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 In my 2 years of fishing the Rock, my PB LM is 5.75 lbs., smallie 3 lbs. and a mean mouth that was just short of 3 lbs. 3.5 lbs. is my biggest spot.
powerdive Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Walleye 8 lbs. 5 oz., C&R in June 3 years ago. Have caught a couple other 27 inchers that didn't get weighed. Still looking for that first Table Rock 30+, but the eye fishing was so good at Bull last year that I never made it over to TR. Accidental bass, 22", late July.
Fishin Hodge Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 6.87 is the biggest LM I have weighed from the Rock. My cousin caught a 4.5# KY with me once; we had 19 1/2 pounds in 5 and that KY was our biggest fish. I am jealous of the smallmouths you guys are talking about. I've never had one over 4 1/4 in my boat.
