We went to a piece of flowing water that was located near or at least with in a mile or so of some water that was warmer than the moving water. We started fishing some lures that we made ourselves and we were able to get some native fish to Missouri to eat them pretty well. We caught quite a few of these native fish and threw them back to hopefully grow bigger in the future. We took a few pics of the bigger native fish we caught, one was 17 1/2 inches and the other was just a hair under 18 inches. We had a good time and enjoyed ourselves a great deal. We drove to another piece of moving water and fished with our fly rods for some non native fish to Missouri with some lures we made ourselves. This spot did not produce like the fist one and we only caught 6 non native fish on lures we made ourselves. We drove home and had food at a chain restaurant and it wasn't very good. All in all it was a very nondescript day :have-a-nice-day:

LOL!! Bravo on that report! I guess I better take some notes so I can do my next report correctly

Funny.

You certainly must post a report in exactly the right way here not to get browbeat one way or the other. Here are the acceptable replies to a fishing report.

1."Really, no pictures?"

2. "Why on earth would you take a picture of a 5 inch rainbow? We already know what they look like."

3. "You included way too much detail and ruined my spot forever due to the (maybe two) people that will actually act on your information."

4. "Really, you fished with a Rebel Craw? What a rookie. A real angler would have used (insert the name of a lure that costs $15.)"

It's one of the main reasons why I rarely post reports anymore.

It is sad to see the amount of trip reports posted drop. Like most people, The amount of time i actually get to fish is not even close to what I wish it was. Reading good reports and seeing pictures of the stream/fish, it is almost as I am living vicariously through the report when I am unable to go.

You should post more often. That reply was almost as great as the first post in this thread! :=D:
