Wow some impressive bags. I have to think it was all A-rig.

Almost a 4lb average for 6 fish.....with the reports posted lately of tough fishing that is a solid bag.

Wow. Over 20 lbs and it only gets you 4th place! These guys are GOOD. I'm not a gambling man, but if I was, I might bet on some of these guys against the Elites on this lake.

Someone recently told me; if you don't think the fish are biting just go to the weigh-in.

Wow. Great sacks. Give me hope for tomorrow on beaver.

Thumbs, you deserve a good sack if you're going fishing today. It's a cold one out there!

Our boat finished 9th in the championship. It is slow but you have to hit a bunch of places and if you hit it when the fish are active you can get several bites and the bites tend to be keepers or quality fish. Fortunately, for us we caught the biggest bass that day but yet again we couldn't put a limit together. We had plenty of bites yesterday but the fish would come up behind the bait and knock slack in your line and you would set the hook and come up with nothing. The three fish we caught bit the same way but wanted the bait better and all were hooked deep in the mouth. We talked with some other guys and they said they were dealing with the same problems. Thats the frustrating part of this sport we are doing the right things and getting the opportunities but the fish are just not taking the bait all the way sometimes. If the weather warms any from now to April chances of catching a big fish are out there for those of you who are wanting to catch your biggest fish on this lake. There was a five pounder in several bags yesterday. The lake is fishing tough but if you hit the right areas you can catch a big one. Good luck everyone.

Put an "a-rig" in the hands of an elite and my moneys on them

There's a very good reason that both BASS Elite and FLW Tour series require anglers to compete in the entire series rather than allow single-tournament entries. It's because the anglers (and the organizers) don't want locals coming in and stealing the show.

The pros are good, but I wouldn't bet a red cent against any of them short of maybe Snowden against the top guys fishing these winter series and certain other local derbies. The Fann boys are legendary around here. The other three boats who topped 20 pounds yesterday are all strong, too, and Sprint21 holds his own against them all.

Well Quill it didn't happen. Not a bite. I left tourney early. I went under hwy 12 bridge and there were cars piled up. After my wife called and texted me several times to get off the water and no fish. I decided it was time to go. Funny thing is. I got boat loaded and slid my way out of Prairie Creek just to find out that Hwy 12 was closed on both sides of me. I had to wait at Tony C's for an hour til things got cleared. I was happy to get out of there and go watch the Superbowl. I just knew that Broncos minus 2.5 was gonna make my day all better. I should have stayed in bed.
