timsfly Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 We had a great C&R season this year, lots of nice fish, and plenty of water, this past month blue wing olives and caddis hatched off nearly every afternoon. I was lucky enough today to end the season with a very nice rainbow, she weighed 12 lbs in my weigh net Caught her on a scrambled egg, size #14 Guess I'll have to go back to work, I'm already looking forward to next November. ness Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I think I've seen that same picture at least 5 times this year John
timsfly Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 Same fish different day ? It was a good year, but this Is the only one I caught this season that was 12 lbs. I'm sure she had been hooked before, though, I had never seen this fish before, so it might have come up. Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Was it a brood stock escapee? Looks like it's just down from the chutes. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
timsfly Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 I think it is a spring fish Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
laker67 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I think it is a spring fish Looks more like a "wish fish" than a spring or brood fish. A wish fish would be one that I "wish" I had caught. Nice fish Tim
