I see that a lot.

Did you strip them with acetone or sand them by hand?

Did what you told me.....denatured alcohol and 600 grit

Think I would keep acetone away from the little gold bricks.

Yes!!

It will melt the plastic.

If your quick it can be done, but makes them gooey.

Im debating on trying the walnut blaster.

Anything beats sanding dozens of old lures by hand.

Well done, sir! they look good.

How much time did it take to sand all 3 down to that point?

That is the way to go. I too have sanded the paint off them and it beyond sucks. I saw a guy on BBC that used a blaster and it got those old wart blanks clean as a whistle, better than anything sanding by hand could do and I am sure took all of 30 seconds per bait. If you have access to a blaster I would use that.

Grizzly, among others. Think even Harbor Freight at times. Lots of places.

Looked into it once, and never did it. Good thing because I am pretty much out of room and time.

Ive got plenty of room & plenty of time.

Which model cabinet do I need to get started?

Do you have a parts list for this kinda project?
