The Lake Level In April?

Were planning on being down there the weekend of April 4th. All I keep reading is how low the lake is, do any of you locals think it will have come back up some by then? Will most ramps be usable??

I do not know the current stage but will look it up. I looks to me like it is about 5 ft low. I do not expect to se much rise for for. several weeks.

big floods coming in late March. 661.5 will be the lake level. You can fish around sheds and real trees. ( I did that several years ago). Bottom line, it depends on the rain. Hell, It might still be frozen thanks to global warming.

Jerry I really wanted to get out there this afternoon. but these old bones do not react well to the cold air temperature. Was so flat the sun was beating down on those that rocky north shore. Maybe nothing. But i missed being there.

Stitch, they won't start allowing it to fill back up until mid-late April. Any big rains we get before then will just result in Ameren letting it right back out.

Regardless you'll still be able to launch/load unless you're using a ramp in the very backend of a cove.
