The State record Stripper is credited to Beaver even though it was caught in the tail waters due to the fact they thought it went through the flood gates, so did the state record stripper get caught in Beaver or Table Rock? Then were did it come from?

It came from the tailwaters of Beaver lake, which is part of tablerock but due to politics AKA state boundaries it is Arkansas instead of Missouri apparently the fish did not have a "White River Border Lakes Pass" Thus it had to be Arkansas State record or it could have been cited for being a fish in the wrong lake without the proper license.

WHEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW that took a lot to type without falling on the floor laughing, though some of it is true

But Jeff Fletcher (JD's son) caught it and he did have a Borders permit and was from Missouri in a Missouri licensed boat. But it would no be a record in Missouri.

Things are much more clear now, aren't they?

The fish came from a portion of Table Rock Lake that happens to lie within Arkansas. Done and done.

But was it a Beaver fish or Table Rock fish? The reports I remember says the fish came from Beaver......

No one know for sure and it really doesn't matter if the thing was airlifted from San Fransico bay......

It was caught in Arkansas. Period. If it was caught in Missouri, it would be the MO state record. It's where the fish is caught, not who raised and nurtured it to health. :)

Seems an appropriate place to note the ironic fact that the MO state record striper was actually caught in Bull Shoals. ;)

Chris

Now how the heck did that occur? Oh wait.....it was on the MO side of the line correct?
