rps Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Al, as I have said before, you write beautifully. No man could wish for a better piece about him after he is gone. Losing a parent is the only thing worse than losing a spouse or a child. You have my thoughts and best wishes.
Greasy B Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Thanks for the touching obituary. Please accept my condolences. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
LittleRedFisherman Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 What a great tribute to what sounds like a great man. My grandfather was a WWII vet, and always say that they were the the greatest generation! Thoughts and my prayers are with you and your family for your loss.. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 My condolences Al. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
