LittleRedFisherman Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 That was a dandy Phil, I remember that video, it was caught 2 days before my wife and I came up to Branson for our anniversary, we fished everymorning and took in the sights in the afternoon! I was pumped to fish after seeing that one!! Also, that blows my zig jig fish vid out of the water.... On a side not, my wife and I fished those PJ jigs all weekend that time, and did great! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 16, 2014 Root Admin Posted March 16, 2014 I honestly think it's all up to the angler if he does well (and of course the fish) with PJ's, Zig Jigs or any other lure or bait. It's what you're confident in or what's available to you. The hooks are different too. I seldom have a fish pull off using PJ's but they have. Could have been the hook could have been me or just didn't hook them well enough. I have had them pull lose from a snag and bend on me. I actually kinda like that. I have not used ZJs at all so I can't attest to their hooks. I'll have to rely on others saying they are a better hook. That's why they're a little more expensive probably. Good debate.
LittleRedFisherman Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I agree 100 percent on confidence, there's just something about it. If your confident in the what your using, I think (at least for me) your senses are more turned in, or more sensitive to the bite. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
