rps Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 QB Since I took all my walleye to a fish fry/wake late last fall I have been in a deprived state. Yesterday (Saturday) I taught school on a snow day makeup so I could not go out. You know what today has been like. I do not blame you for releasing, but I must vote with F&F on this one.
bfishn Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Don't listen Quill, you just keep on throwing them back. We'll take good care of them for you. I can't dance like I used to.
Quillback Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Guys, it all boils down to laziness, after a day of fishing, last thing I want to do is clean fish.
Quillback Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Hey quill was that you passing thru pea ridge yesterday about 2:30 Might have been, silver F-150 towing a black/silver Phoenix.
fishingaddiction Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 QB the little rig doesn't discriminate between fish species. It will catch them all. Nice Eye, I understand about cleaning fish at the end of the day, but that one deserved the knife. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
bluebasser86 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I'm always surprised that more 'eyes don't fall for the Ned. Until last year I'd never caught a single one on it, then I caught a 21" and 24" walleye a couple weeks apart on one. I hear you on not wanting to clean fish. I don't care much for eating fish and kind of get a kick out of the look of horror in other fishermen's eyes as I drop a keeper walleye or crappie back in the lake
