inshore Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 anyone care to say what this cold weather will do to spawning fish and the others shallow but not started to spawn? I think it will run the spawners out and others into 15 to 20 fow.

MOBass Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I think they are locked and going no where. I'm going with this. There may be a few back off, but I doubt it. I'll find out tomorrow afternoon. Going to start off in the spawning areas and work my way out if I don't find them.
Sprint21fter Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 They won't go anywhere. The bite might be slow until the sun gets up.
dtrs5kprs Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 They won't go anywhere. The bite might be slow until the sun gets up. Right on. Might be a few empty beds, but it is getting late enough they should stay up. There will for sure be fish out in 15-25', but there always are some there.
dblades Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I was seeing beds in 10-12 feet yesterday in Big Bay, forgot how clear this water can get.
