Wayne SW/MO Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 A.J. McCarron is gonna be a steal for some team. I agree with that. I wish the Chiefs had taken him. You can't always close your eyes and compare QB's. McCarron had to play a team that was fired up virtually every game and that cuts into the stats. I think a lot of the rhetoric about Sam overlooked the fact that he wasn't high on the list. His line was that he was too small for a professional end and to slow for a LB. He also looked really bad in the pro day test. No one wanted to pay him high draft dollars to see if he could step up. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Lancer09 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 This is immature bullcrap, and you deserve to be called on it. Tacked on to the fact that this post makes literally zero sense. I won't get of on too much of a tangent here, because it's not even worth my time. But you shouldn't be okay with the way you're coming off, because it's really not putting you in a good light. Beat me to it. I'm surprised honestly that the Chiefs didn't grab a receiver, I guess they are confident in what they have got. Reid supposedly is really liking AJJ. I like the draft. A lot. Games are won in the Trenches, Seattle proved it. We grabbed another raw, but talented corner. Deanthony Thomas is going to surpass Dex's stats this year, and if not then next for sure. Combine that with Dressler and we have a lot of speed. Unless Knile is back to completely healthy we could have used someone else too to spell some snaps for Jamaal. The two linement we drafted are studs too, and at one point Fulton was even mocked to go in the second Round. LTD is the top prospect out of Canada, and is expected to be drafted number 1 in their draft next month. Big dude who is a freak athlete. And it's not like Ford wont see the field. He isn't as big as Allen Bailey or Big Cat but Bailey has shown he can't rush over the last three years and Cat hasn't been given a chance yet. Sure they are ends in the 3-4, but mixing up looks they will find ways to get Ford on the field rushing.
Justin Spencer Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I was hoping Pitt State's John Brown would fly under the radar and fall to the Griefs, but Az. picked him up in the 3rd, he could have replaced McCluster and been a recieving threat also. Happy to see him taken however! KCRIVERRAT Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Pretty wild that a a guy from Pitt State named "John Brown" is drafted. If there's a William Quantrill on the Missouri side drafted it could make for an interesting game. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS

stlfisher Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I like the rams picks...interested to see tre mason run. Sam is gonna have a difficult time making the rams roster, but I think EJ gaines is underated. Here is a fact I found interesting...Texas had no one drafted...not one player...that is hard to believe.
Quillback Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Here is a fact I found interesting...Texas had no one drafted...not one player...that is hard to believe. That is surprising. And A&M had at least 3 players taken in the 1st round I believe.
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Well now, that's a bit of a low blow. I mean, who else is going to make your food in a KC barbeque joint without the Kansas City Chefs? Now the Chiefs on the other hand? I don't know. If you don't go to KC bbq joint you don't have to worry about now do you?
Ham Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Did anyone catch the BS from the Rams about how they had M.Sam rated higher than 7 th round? They had two 6th round picks they used on other people and another 7 th round pick they used on someone else first. No knock on him, it just seems like a BS comment. I hope he has a successful career, but his game may not translate to the NFL. Not everybody's game does. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Their defensive line is loaded and his chances to make the roster are going to be slim unless he is all-world in training camp/thre preseason. Chances are he gets cut before the season opener and ends up signing as a FA somewhere. Or the practice squad. But someone will take him. He's too good not to get at least a hearty chance.
