Seth Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Tough crowd! So for you doubters, what would be the proper procedure to take so that even you would believe a fish's weight? Obviously, weighing a fish and then later verifying that the scale is accurate in front of a camera isn't enough.
ColdWaterFshr Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 We used a scale like that back in 7th grade physics class. I would like to amend my earlier statement, I have no doubt that this incredible fish weighed 9.6 newtons.

Seth Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 It's a pig regardless. No doubt about that! It could just about eat my biggest small mouth for a snack!
Al Agnew Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Wisconsin state record is 9 pounds 1 ounce, caught in 1950.
Greasy B Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 When I see videos like that I ask myself; do I act that silly when I catch a fish? Gosh, I hope not. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. Geoff Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Nice fish...wonder if it made it back safe to the aquarium at the box store?.... Nope, he put it back in the lake "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
Quillback Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I don't either, but I don't have sponsors paying me to fish. If I did, I'd add all sorts of flare to my fish catches! "Let me get the FRABILL", "OK, I have the FRABILL in my hands". "Netting the fish in the FRABILL". "Let's pull the fish out of the FRABILL for a picture". Sheesh...
Guest Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 No way that fish is 24.5" long. Big smallie for sure that I dream of catching, but no way is that one 9+ pounds. Someone measure length using photoshop.
