Then there's the overused boardroom talk. Like "Level Set", "Circle the Wagons", " Overarching Initiative", "ASAP"........that one really gets me.

"Paradigm Shift" , to mention a few.

I also have a buddy that says "Typically" so many times in a presentation, some people actually started counting and making bets.

Have they done meeting bingo? That is where all the buzz words are on bingo cards. It works best if no one yells out bingo during the meeting.

Paradigm is also the name of a national award winning Hosta plant. I never heard of the word before that. I looked it up and still cannot figure why the developer picked that name. In the world of Hosta it should not surprise me there is such names as mistress mabel, Hanky Panky and striptease.

Naw, fishing is easy....Talking about it is difficult.

That should be a bumper sticker and a sign mounted in a bait shop!

And we are going to "be proactive" and "get out in front of it" and "take our game up a notch" and "skill set" "what you bring to the table" "take it to the next level" etc. My own little theory is that the more somebody talks like that, the bigger idiot they are and the less they could lead a buzzard to roadkill. The MBAs I know actually dont talk like that, so I wonder where folks learn it.

Maybe not what you all are thinking here but Right now this one gets me. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Someone from put lodge and church dropped his getting out of his car and sure enough it killed him.

Seems like what you have brought to the table has really taken this thread to the next level.

The one I hate the worst: "I'll be honest with you". When that one comes out the first thing that pops into my head is spare me.
