Seth Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 did really well on orange sculpin again this morning, but they seemed to want white once the fog lifted and it got sunny. Threw a gold 4" husky jerk a bit and caught a few. Dad was drifting a brown/orange jig and a tan #12 scud under a float on spinning gear and picked up several. Biggest was another very healthy 18" rainbow.
Travis Swift Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Phil our basement flooded at home in KS so we have to leave a day early. Sucks leaving there but we are staying at your place the week of Thanksgiving and staying at your moms house (24) so I'm looking forward to meeting yiy and maybe even fish together? ?
Seth Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Thank stinks travis! These storms were a real pain the butt for a lot of folks.
Travis Swift Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Yeah it wasn't the call I wanted to get as we were headed fishing in about 10 mins this morning. Instead of hammering fish I was headed home
Gatorjet Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 A little OT, but you were talking about your jet boat. Do you do the Gator Boats poker run? I'll be there next Saturday. https://m.facebook.com/GatorJetBoats/photos/a.233042433393456.64025.180500548647645/750824961615198/?type=1&source=46 Real men go propless!
Seth Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I would do it, but my bass club has a tourney that day so I will miss it. I'll be around the Bell Chutes and Jerome area all day.
