Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 7, 2014 Root Admin Posted June 7, 2014 Just got an email forwarded to me from the Corp. They're saying the weather service is forecasting 5 inches of rain in the White River watershed in the next 7 days. But they state this forecast is a "moving target" and may change. They say if it does happen Table Rock will go to 920 feet. All this is very speculative.
Quillback Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I guess it could happen, but the last few days they've been predicting all kinds of rain for NW AR and it hasn't rained very much.
denjac Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 920 would be fine with me. I do better when the lake fishes large. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. For a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." ~ Winston Churchill ~

Quillback Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Seems everything has been just to the north, got an inch or so Wednesday, but only a few brief spurts since then.
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Branson got an official .01 yesterday, but we got close to an inch. We're 8 miles NE and we generally get what comes from the James watershed. We've had a lot of rain through here, but I think parts of Barry and stone have had more so I'm not surprised the lake is rising fast. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
dtrs5kprs Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Lot will depend on the rain at the back of the rivers. Not looking forward to dealing with floaters, but bushes are always fun.

Branson's measure bucket must be under an awning downtown.
