dtrs5kprs
My favorite!! Wyandotte and Rosedale are in the background of Dave at the Fillin' Station in Lampe. They are originally from KCK. Now if I could only find out how Brett got that pic of me without a beard...
Members cbass12
Wyandotte and Rosedale are in the background of Dave at the Fillin' Station in Lampe. They are originally from KCK. The original owners are close relatives of my dad's best friend, whose family is extremely close with ours. So needless to say I've been eating there since I was a little kid and I really haven't found a place that I like better. We'll be staying at Mill Creek Resort starting next saturday, I'll have to bring that up if I stop into the Fillin Station.
evilcatfish
Here I go adding to the KC vs STL discussion and I agree that Oklahoma Joe's is dang good, but Pappy's Smokehouse in STL is very good as well. Hard to say which is better, but hands down both are better than Arthur Bryant's. IMO Next time in StL check out Bogarts or Sugarfire, both are fantastic. OK Joes is great too though. I'm a big fan of BB in KC as well, the music and food are top notch
Robert Haynes
Thanks to all the advice when I started this thread. We fished Saturday evening, rough water and boats like crazy, big boats. Found a sheltered spot and had a few small fish hit. Out at daylight Sunday, water was beatitful, lake was quiet. Started to get on a bite on gravel flat and rain hit. Stayed under open spot in close dock for hour or so and after looking at radar decided to call it for the day. It's one thing fishing in storms by yourself but with 7 year old grandson I did not want to make his trip miserable. I will return but may wait until water is too cold for ski boats.
