8 fish total. 2 keeper walleye, 2 under 18", and 4 white bass. The wife and I trolled #7 flickers and threw some swim baits from 5:30p-8:30p. Wish we could've stayed after dark. Water temp 77, caught fish at 14-18'.

Those look yummy! Looks like a beautiful evening on the lake.

I was fixing some walleye filets at work yesterday and a coworker commented that he has heard of a LOT of walleye being caught on beaver this year. I would have to agree. The numbers I have been hearing, and catching myself, have far surpassed the last few years since I have been hearing of them. Good thing for us I guess. Them things sure are tasty.

We caught probably 8 to 10 walleye yesterday all in that 8 to 12'' range so the fishery will be healthy and continue to grow it looks like. I have to say every time I catch one of the little ones I have to smile to think about the their success story now and the years to come.

I think it is tougher the last couple of years. Since July last year it has been tougher. My friend and I fished for 5 years every Tuesday and Thursday and would have our limits even though we would not keep anything over 23". This was from April to October / November depending on wx. Some times we would catch over 30 walleyes, but that's all we fished for. I've never posted this before because he though to many people used the site we would only post on the mid-south walleye site. As he passed on this last year I guess I can post.

Put in at RB at first light this morning and fished until noon.

Trolled Shad Raps and Flicker shads the entire time.

8 Kentuckies biggest maybe 2lbs mainly dinks

6 smallmouth 5 dinks and 1 huge 22 inches

2 Meanmouth 1 20 inches

4 walleye 1 came home, 3 were within 1/4 of an inch.

Fished RB to point 8

Majority of the fish came in front of the elevated roadbed in between the island and the east bank across from RB or off underwater humps.

A number of boats fishing for striper just outside of RB at first light.

Sorry no pics to windy today.
