I'm kind of losing track here..........

Is it bow fisherman that cut bass fisherman off, wake boarders and Jet skis that cut bass fisherman off, trollers that cut bass fisherman off, or other bass fisherman that cut bass fisherman off?

Do bass fisherman feel like they are being disrespected on the Rock? Like someone doesn't know who they are or something?

Everyone can thank Johnny for the sudden popularity for bowfishing, he is like what Willie is to ducking hunting and facial hair. Make sure you all thank him by shopping else where, it won't hurt him a bit but it sure helps out the others.

I do wonder about the the common curtsy thing. I feel this is the main reason for this post. How far off the bank were you ?????Was it possible they though you were fishing some hump or brush pile. And what do you consider intrusion ??

My dock is one of three or four in a a row that are visited quite often by bass fishermen. Very late in the evening day before yesterday I and my neighbor were returning home from fishing. I notice a boat ahead that just begun fishing that group of docks. Rather than go around him and pull into my dock I stopped about a 150 ft in back of him and fished behind him. He did not catch any fish. But fishing in back of him I caught two before reaching my dock. When he stopped fishing at the end of the run he gave us a dirty look and left. Now what we did I do not consider a intrusion. I thought we were giving him first shot and not disturbing the water the way we would have had I pulled ahead and docked up the boat. The reason he did not catch those fish had to do with his approach. He was getting in real close and making short cast with a jig I believe it was. We were standing back making long cast with plastic worms worked slowly. We also had the advantage of knowing where every thing was in that stretch because we built it over the last 20 plus years. But he sure did not like it.

Plug, do you go to kids birthday party's and tell them they are most likely to go to be a laborer or sit in a cube farm when they get older to ruin their fun?

But, in all seriousness, I can see where having one of those bow fishing rigs getting too close at night would be irritating.

the thing about turtles is that they always have their noses in the air and look at you with an unblinking accusatory stare. I, for one, feel self conscious in their presence.
