Biggest Bass Out Of Tr.

Just got my new issue of in-fisherman. Theres an article on record bass. I know some of you locals down there know what the record bass to come out of TR is. I would be interested to know what that might be. I'm guessing it was several years ago. Thanks.

This topic has come up a time or two here. The answers we have gotten in the past have opened up more questions than answers. One outlandish story claims the Table Rock record bass was hanging in a dive restaurant in Nowhereville, Minnesota and when the person who sighted it went back like a year later to see it again and the fish was gone....and so the legend and mystery continues. Nobody really knows for sure what the record is on TR.

I caught an 8.1lb largemouth out of the Kings River arm in 2005 when it was super low.

I'm sure there are many more 9-10lb bass in that lake.

Webb's 11# fish has to be up there, plus the Frank Fensom fish from the way back days.

Thought I read of one up King's River over 12 maybe late 70s or year lake was19' low. Anyon e remember that newspaper article??

Myself and dad made a pac, first ten pound bass we would mount.

First day or so we fished TR, I had one 9lb ,, he caught one little over 6lb at same time, off a tree by 86 bridge, we both threw em back.

NEVER CAUGHT ANOTHER BIGGER.

This was the mid 70's though. lol.

The biggest I have caught out of tr is 4lbs and that was 4 years ago

Took a picture for a guy during prefishing for a weekend series tournament back in '05 of a 10lb 2oz beauty that was released right after the pictures. Of course he blanked in the tournament

7.5 is my biggest. That was last spring or the one before, the water was pretty dirty then. That was probably the best trip I've had to the rock.
