powerdive Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 All this talk of lake record bass...Missouri isn't exactly known for producing extra-large green fish. So let's talk about some real monsters! What's the biggest eye you know of from Table Rock? I've heard of multiple 19 pounders from up the White River in early spring........that's just hearsay, though.
rps Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I saw a 14.5 that Chuck caught out of Holiday Island. I have seen a wall mount of a "17" that looks more like a 16. I have been told of several other 17's but have not seen pictures or mounts.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Ive seen a few that clients had from TR that were 16 to 17 on the plaque. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
powerdive Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 My best from TR so far is only 8.4.......that could make a nice dinner for some of those fish.
Quillback Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 You'd think there would be some getting fat up the river eating rainbows.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 You'd think there would be some getting fat up the river eating rainbows. They don't though is the issue. I don't know why but I have put my camera down I will see a few but nothing like when they make the run up-river. I don't think there is a large population of fish that stay upriver. I have seen some big girls for sure but not near the numbers I would have thought I would with such a wonderful prey source. They really do seem to go up river for fun and then leave fast for the main lake. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
bfishn Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 14.95 for me. 7 more between there and 10. But I saw one once (in the water) that could get the heads of any of those in its' mouth... I can't dance like I used to.
